Temporary absence

We will be off the App Store for about a week as Animator is re-submitted for approval with the new name. The old version of iFlipbook will still work properly if you have downloaded it, but be sure to grab the new version when it is out!

Name change

iFlipbook is undergoing a name change (apparently "Flipbook" is trademarked). It will now be Animator and the revised version should hit the app store towards the end of next week

In Review

iFlipbook has gone back into review this morning.

*Hopefully* this will be the last time and we will be on the App Store this Friday!

Submitted again

iFlipbook was re-submitted to Apple last week for review again. Unfortunately, all traces of Game Center have been removed, as they did not consider it a game :/

This eliminates multiplayer, achievements, and leaderboards. Even so, iFlipbook is still has a lot to offer and is a terrific way to create awesome flipbooks!

Hopefully iFlipbook will hit the App Store this Friday!

Review Status Update

After appealing to the App Review Board and waiting a few days to see what the verdict would be, I got a call from Apple yesterday. It turns out that in order to use Game Center in an app, the app must be considered a game, and whoever reviewed iFlipbook did not consider it to be a game. (Am I the only one who thinks that it can be a game?)

So unfortunately, in order for iFlipbook to be approved, I have to remove all traces of Game Center, which means getting rid of multiplayer, achievements, leader boards, and more. BOO! These were some awesome features, so it is quite a disappointment to have to do this.

Hopefully the revised version will be submitted for review later today.

Review Status

Received an email from Apple this morning and apparently they need more time to review iFlipbook. Hopefully the launch isn't delayed more than a week!

"We are currently reviewing an app that you submitted for inclusion on the App Store, and want to let you know that the review process will require additional time. We apologize for the delay and will provide you with an update on the status of your app as soon as possible."

Delay

iFlipbook and iFlipbook Lite went into review today. Unfortunately it looks like Apple had a problem with the Game Center integration.

Their response: Game Center information, such as Leaderboard scores, may only be used in apps approved for use with the Game Center

Apparently whoever reviewed it did not realize that multiplayer fully utilizes Game Center. Soooo, I have resubmitted both versions with an explaination and sent in a request for expedited review. We'll see what happens

iFlipbook is still waiting for review.
Let's hope that Apple get's to it soon so that it is ready by Friday!

Free Version

A lite version of iFlipbook has been submitted to Apple for review. This version will be FREE for anyone who wants to try out iFlipbook.

iFlipbook lite has a maximum of 30 slides and 5 uploads to Facebook or Twitter, but other than that, it has every feature available in the full version of iFlipbook

Redid the app icon just before submitting for review.

iFlipbook will be supported on both the iPhone and the iPad!

By the looks of it, iFlipbook will also be the ONLY flipbook creator for the iPad! And if I may say so myself, it sure is fun on the iPad with a huge area to draw!

You won't be disappointed with the loads of drawing features and overall hilarity of iFlipbook!

Waiting for Review

iFlipbook has been submitted to Apple for review and will hopefully be approved and ready on the App Store next week!

After a lot of hard work, the countdown has begun!

The planned launch date is Saturday, April 14th.
